THE ROUTE
The hike starts at the church of Santa Caterina, following the road along the Diebba stream to the start of the trail.
The path first climbs through the woods and then crosses the area of Pian di Namos. It continues on toward the barns and pastures of Pian di Barco, before looping back down toward Auronzo.
The descent passes through clearings and both young and mature woodland, back to the hamlet of Santa Caterina.
