THE ROUTE
The hike starts from Malga Rinbianco (1,840 m), accessible by car from Misurina along the Tre Cime road. Follow a wartime military track downhill toward Val Rinbianco for 15–20 minutes, until you reach a sign marking the trail to the Scoglio. The path climbs in switchbacks, gentle at first and then a bit steeper, through dense dwarf pine, crossing two scree slopes along the Costa dei Lares, up to the "Osservatorio" sign. On the left, among the remains of trenches, you soon reach the almost imperceptible summit of the Scoglio, offering a spectacular panorama. Return by retracing the same trail.
